Notify

Notify is Pepper's ability to alert your team that a visitor has arrived. Please note, when notify is enabled, it will automatically launch after the Attract & Greeting phase.

How do I set up Notify?

There are two methods of setting-up Notify, within the Host CMS and en masse using the provided template.

Within the Host CMS and excel template, you'll find that there are five columns, each requesting specific information:

  • Last Name
  • First Name
  • Title
  • Phone Number
  • Email ID

You can either put in a phone number or email address or both, whichever one is preferred by your staff.

If using the CSV template, upload the file by clicking the "Upload a company directory" button on the Notify Scene page. The page will automatically save your file. We recommend to keep a local file for future updates, as any new uploads will replace existing data.

If using the Host CMS, fill in the appropriate contact information in the table (Phone, email, or Both). Please note, in order to update contact information, you will need to delete and create a new entry.

There is also an option to collect your visitor’s name during Notify. This will prompt the end-user to type their name into Pepper’s tablet, and this information will be sent in the notification to the appropriate employee.
